TED BAKER MENS & WOMENS MOODBOARDS
These two boards were designed for Ted Baker, one for the women’s line and one for the men’s. Ted Baker is described as a quintessentially British brand, so I started in London. Early photos from the Mod and Twiggy era set the mood for both boards: graphic, youthful, and a little irreverent.
From there I moved to what the brand is making now. Current jewelry from the Ted Baker site and the frames on TURA’s website showed me where the label sits today, and the floral print dresses became a direct source for the women’s frames, carrying the brand’s signature prints into the eyewear.
The men’s board shifted toward tailoring. Cufflinks and tweed patterns gave the frames a more traditional British vocabulary, which I then tried to push somewhere less expected.
That push is why every frame here lands on the editorial side. I would rather start with a point of view and refine it than start safe.

L.A.M.B. MOODBOARD
This board was designed for L.A.M.B., the label created by Gwen Stefani, and it started with her, since it is her brand and her point of view.
I pulled from large statement jewelry, nail art, and 2016 streetwear, everything loud and worn with confidence. The handbags carried the same attitude, especially one with a dramatic zebra print, which reflects the black and white graphic boldness L.A.M.B. is known for.
Two images ended up driving the frames: a photo of Gwen’s hair and that zebra-print bag. The sharp lines of her hair shaped the silhouette, and the bag set the contrast and the graphic punch.
The result is editorial by design. Sharp lines and high contrast made for frames that make a statement rather than blend in.
